Electronic regulator

The 2CV's were equipped with battery mounted mechanic regulators. These mechanic regulators tend to seize after some years. This very often results in overcharging of the battery what makes the acid boiling and come out.
The electronic after market regulators have proven to be more reliable.

All regulators were intended to be mounted on the battery. Since most cars today haven't got their original Citroen battery anymore, there is no mount for the regulator. This electronic regulator can easily be mounted on the firewall. Just drill out the 2 steel rivets what hold the mounting bracket on the regulator. The holes are ideal for some self tapping screws to mount the regulator onto the firewall.
